Hi Queentina,

What an amazing husband you have. We might call him the Proverbs 31 man. J

Thank you for sharing this with me. Although it’s not a good fit for our magazine, it was a blessing to read.

In His Service,

Glynnis

An Invitation to be a Part of the P31 Woman Magazine

Proverbs 31 Ministries is dedicated to glorifying God by "Bringing God's peace, perspective, and purpose to today's busy woman." Through Jesus Christ, we shed light on God's distinct design for women and great responsibilities we have been given. With Proverbs 31:10-31 as a guide, we encourage and equip women to practice the Seven Principles of a Proverbs 31 woman.

We invite you to review our topic list and submit an article this year. Our primary guideline for accepting articles is that they are written from a Christian perspective and encourage and inspire women to live out their faith in the variety of arenas they may find themselves.

In addition to the topics listed, we encourage you to use the Seven Principles as a guide. We welcome items appropriate for the holidays and other seasonal topics such as back-to-school, summer vacation tips, etc. We also appreciate articles that address needs of women such as: single motherhood, raising an adopted child(ren), dealing with adolescence and teenagers, and taking care of parents, just to mention a few ideas.

Our mission is to glorify God in all we do and to encourage and inspire His beloved daughters. We pray you will be a part of this exciting and life-changing ministry.

Writer's Guidelines

We consider the production of each monthly magazine issue a ministry. Contributors are not paid, but they do retain the rights to their work. Additionally, we are pleased to send each contributor three copies of the issue featuring his or her article.

Proverbs 31 Ministries is always seeking articles that support our mission of encouraging and equipping women in the Seven Principles of the Proverbs 31 Woman.

Here are some things you can do to maximize the chances that your submissions will be printed:

Read the magazine to familiarize yourself with the kinds of articles we publish. (However, don't be afraid to submit something just because it's different from anything we have published before.)

Watch the length of what you submit. Suggested length is between 200 and 1,000 words. If you have a longer piece, consider dividing it into Part I and Part II.

Please e-mail your article to Assistant Editor Janet Burke at: Janet@proverbs31.org.

Please submit one article at a time.

If you use Scripture quotations, please indicate which Bible version used.

We reserve the right to edit all contributions for style, clarity and length.

Certify the originality of what you have written, and let us know if it has been published before.

Give us permission to use what you have written in the magazine and its promotion, as well as in other facets of our ministry, including radio programs and on our website.

Be patient. Each issue is produced a few months before it reaches your mailbox, and issues are taking shape many months before that.
