"HEAR THE KINGDOM’S CALL" =

R eached &
T he Gospel preached!
H is Spirit
E mpowering!
K neel
I n His presence,
N ow pray!
G race
D riving out
O ur fear;
M ay the love of CHrist
S hine bright through us
C all of the Lord – His Kingdom let’s seek first!
A ll the nations – go and make disciples!
L et His salvation - eternal life bring
L ift up His Name & glorify!
tune of "Hear the Kingdom's Call"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story behind the song (by Keith, Kristyn & Stuart):
‘We wanted to write a song that we could send people out with at the end of a service, one that would be a call to go out confidently and positively as salt and light to the world. Verse one considers how we respond first and foremost to the cross, coming into the Kingdom of Christ and seeking to praise Him. Verse two was inspired by the Sermon on the Mount, where Christ teaches what it means to be children of the Kingdom – loving righteousness and justice, walking in humility, with mercy and letting His light shine through us. Verse three reminds us of our call to declare the Gospel and the Kingdom to the lost. The chorus is our response to follow and ultimately, in all we do – helping the sick, feeding the hungry, working for justice, explaining the faith – our aim is to proclaim salvation in Jesus’ name’.
HEAR THE CALL OF THE KINGDOM
Lift your eyes to the King
Let His song rise within you
As a fragrant offering
Of how God rich in mercy
Came in Christ to redeem
All who trust in His unfailing grace
Hear the call of the Kingdom
To be children of light
With the mercy of heaven
The humility of Christ
Walking justly before Him
Loving all that is right
That the life of Christ may shine through us
King of Heaven we will answer the call
We will follow bringing hope to the world
Filled with passion filled with power to proclaim
Salvation in Jesus' name
Hear the call of the Kingdom
To reach out to the lost
With the Father's compassion
In the wonder of the cross
Bringing peace and forgiveness
And a hope yet to come
Let the nations put their trust in Him

There is a hope - acrostic
There is a hope
Stuart Townend / Mark Edwards
Key: C
Tempo: slow
THERE IS A HOPE that burns within my heart,
That gives me strength for every passing day;
A glimpse of glory now revealed in meagre part,
Yet drives all doubt away:
I stand in Christ, with sins forgiven;
And Christ in me, the hope of heaven!
My highest calling and my deepest joy,
To make His will my home.
There is a hope that lifts my weary head,
A consolation strong against despair,
That when the world has plunged me in its deepest pit,
I find the Saviour there!
Through present sufferings, future's fear,
He whispers 'courage' in my ear.
For I am safe in everlasting arms,
And they will lead me home.
There is a hope that stands the test of time,
That lifts my eyes beyond the beckoning grave,
To see the matchless beauty of a day divine
When I behold His face!
When sufferings cease and sorrows die,
And every longing satisfied.
Then joy unspeakable will flood my soul,
For I am truly home.

GIFTED FOR LEADERSHIP
Biblical truth—We always look at leadership issues through a biblical lens.
Reality—We are realistic about the issues, struggles, challenges, opportunities, and joys women leaders face.
Honesty—We are committed to addressing reality with honesty and without apology.
Redemption—We express ourselves without bitterness. When speaking from personal pain, we point to hope and healing—even if our healing process is incomplete. This is not a forum for mere arguments or expressions of personal anguish.
Love—We care about women in leadership and want to make personal connections with them.
Equipping—We help women get better, and more confident, in what they do.
Encouragement—We want women to feel good about the gifts God has given them, and we help them see how they can use those gifts. We love and root for the church and its people.
Challenge—We challenge women to use their leadership gifts, pursue spiritual growth, and think deeply.
Unity—We help women rise above the arguments and judgments about where they should lead. Instead, we agree that we are all obligated to use our gifts in the ways God has called us to do so.
